Four-Week Group Courses
This adult horse riding course is run over 4-weeks during school terms throughout the year. This course is suitable for a range of riders; from complete beginner adult riders and parents of riders, to those progressing and improving their skills as well as those looking to get back in the saddle or learn more about horsemanship. The sessions are 2-hours each week, with a mix of horsemanship and a private riding lesson. More advanced riders will be grouped together and all riders have a private lesson each week progressing at their own level.
These new courses are suited to various levels of riding, with riders matched accordingly. Riders then have the option to continue on at the end of the 4-weeks to additional modules and extension courses.
4-Week initial course content includes:
How to correctly saddle and tack up a horse
How to mount and dismount from your horse
How to obtain the correct position in your saddle to ride safely
The correct posture while riding
Groom and care for a horse
Terminology and equipment/tack - uses and differences
How to read a horse’s body language
How to walk and guide a horse
Work your way to an independent trot and later canter when ready
More advanced riders will build on their existing skill level
Cost - $660 per person for 4-weeks

Build your own group lesson!
MC Equestrian can now cater to custom-built groups for all riding levels and abilities.
These can be a mix of children and adults/ families or friends.
Available off peak times only, for 2 hours
2 to 6 riders
Entails a mix of group horsemanship and a private lesson each (so more advanced riders can still be in a group with less skilled riders, as the riding element is a private lesson - tailored to the individuals skill level)
Cost: Child (3 to 13 yrs) $245
Adult (14 yrs +) $275 per person

Private Riding & Horsemanship
for two Participants
It’s all about the basics! Teaches horsemanship and correct riding, tailored to the ability and confidence of participants. Have fun while you watch each other learn to ride one at a time - you will learn a lot and encourage each other in the process. Lesson will be taliored riders ability.
Cost $380 for two people ($195 2hr per person)
*Minimum age 14yrs

*Surcharge of $20 applies for bookings or changes to bookings that require our administration team to process it.
