School Holiday Camps.
Looking for ways to entertain the kids during the school holidays?
Every holiday we run horse riding school holiday camps, suitable for beginner riders. Our camps are extremely popular and kids come from far and wide to take part in the exciting hands-on activities. Our camps run in all weather conditions as we have a large, undercover arena to keep everyone dry!
We can also organise a private camp experience if you have your own group.
Our programs are designed to provide an enjoyable and safe learning environment and include a combination of group riding instruction with highly qualified coaches, horsemanship, grooming, tacking up, mounted games and even braiding for some lucky ponies!
For our older riders we add additional equine care learning opportunities including horse health, farriery, first aid, feeding and stable management.
Our programs are designed to be fun and interactive. Everyone gets to ride - be it group mounted games or a group lesson.
Holiday Camps April 2024
BEGINNER Half Day School Holiday Camps
April - Monday to Friday
15th - 19th April 2024: 9am to 12pm
Saturday 20th April: 1pm-4pm
22nd - 24th April: 9am to 12pm
Ages 5 to 13 years
Half day beginner camps are $295 per person per day
(These can also be run by request at alternative dates/times in if you have your own group of min of four riders)
2-Hour School Holiday Activities - including private lesson
MC Equestrian can now offer activities with a private lesson if you have your own group during the school holidays..
Two hours - flexible times depending on availablity
Bring your own group of friends.
Minimum of 2 riders
Entails a mix of group horsemanship and a private lesson each
Cost: 5 to 13 years $245
14 years plus $275 per person

What to expect?
Beginner Half Day Camps - 9am - 12pm Ages 5 years plus
↠ A minimum of 1 hour riding - Please note that beginner riders rarely leave a walk
↠ 1 hour structured instruction in horsemanship
↠ Remaining time will comprise of supervised hanging out with the horses, a short break and additional learning opportunities, including helping with feeds, grooming the ponies and even some stable cleaning!
2-Hour School Holiday Private Group - including private lesson
↠ Bring your own group of riders - minimum 2 riders
↠ Entails a mix of group horsemanship and a private lesson each

Closed toe shoes with a small flat heel or boots
For booking instructions please head over to our FAQ’s - frequently asked questions page before calling us. As you can appreciate we are usually out with the horses and conducting lessons, so answering the phone immediately can be tricky at times. If you still need assistance then, please don’t hesitate to call.
How to book Holiday Camps?
Bookings are made through a link to our booking platform.
To book your riding lesson click Book Now below. (You will be redirected to our booking platform)
Here you will register as a user (or log in if you already have an account) and nominate a rider.
Wait for our team to activate your profile in our system according to information on your registration form (usually within few hours).
Once this is done, all the Holiday Camp options available to suit your ability will be displayed for you to make your booking.
Find the School Holiday Camp date of your choice, select your preferred camp. *Note - to book the 2hr School Holiday Activities or to discuss an activity made for your, contact our team on 0433 247 247. Then choose Add to Basket. Go to Basket then go to Checkout and Make Payment.
Once you have done this, you will receive a Booking Confirmation and an email advising the next steps.
