Private Horse Riding Lessons
Private lessons for children or adults are the quickest way of advancing your riding abilities. Our lessons run for 45 minutes including time taken to tack up and prepare your horse for its lesson, with assistance as required. We believe all riders need to learn horsemanship and the skills needed to ride a horse. Lessons are bookable on the hour. During your private lesson your instructor will coach you on finding your balance and making yourself comfortable in the saddle then progress through the dynamics of learning to ride.
What to expect?
All our lessons are designed to ensure you learn about horsemanship and how to care for your horse. Each lesson will begin with the rider “tacking up” (saddling) their own horse and ensuring it is ready for their riding lesson. Those new to riding will be given assistance and guidance on the correct procedure. Our instructors will teach you about horses’ body language and behaviour to enable you to become a knowledgeable, safe and confident rider. Our lessons have a focus on the correct fundamentals of riding, including position, to give you the foundations to enable you to progress up the levels. From this foundation you will learn to walk, trot and canter.

Peak Hour Lesson Pricing - Saturday & Sunday and 4pm - 6pm weekdays.

Surcharge of $20 for bookings or changes to bookings that require our administration team to process it.
