Horse Riding Birthday Parties

“The BEST Birthday party EVER!”

A Pony Party is a fantastic way to celebrate your child’s birthday or special event.

Our horses are specifically trained to work with children and do so on a daily basis within our riding school for lessons and school holiday camps. They and are calm, well-mannered and very loveable - the perfect choice for a birthday party to remember!

At MC Equestrian we have a spacious, covered, arena for riding so your party will not be impacted by weather conditions, plus room for some birthday festivities with a rustic, authentic vibe inside the stable block where the ponies can watch the festivities from afar. Alternatively we have a small, paved patio if the weather is fine!

Our parties are designed to provide maximum fun in an enjoyable and safe learning environment and include a combination of basic riding instruction, mounted games, grooming and horsemanship with a small fridge available.

What to expect?

↠ Pony Parties run for 4 hours

↠ Pony Parties are best suited for children aged between 3 to 10 years

↠ Pony Parties are run on Sunday afternoons

↠ The parties will entail 2 hours with the ponies, including led pony rides, grooming and plaiting and decorating the horses with an array of pretty ribbons and coloured hair chalk

↠ Pony Parties come with a dedicated MC Equestrian staff member present the entire time, and helpers to lead the ponies. Our instructors are well educated, supportive and incredibly patient

↠ The children will also get to experience general horseman ship, watching and participating in saddling up the ponies and general horse care

↠ The parents will have the other 2 hours to celebrate with cake, presents and limited party games (due to space) like ‘pass the parcel’. (per your own arrangements) with access to bathroom.

What to wear?

The children need to wear comfortable full-length leggings or stretchy pants. Covered shoes or boots with a small heel and smooth soles are essential. We have a limited number of boots available in selected sizes to borrow if need be. Helmets will be provided.

*** To cancel a Pony Party, we require 4-weeks notice. If you have any questions, please head over to our frequently asked questions page before calling us. As you can appreciate, we are usually out with the horses and conducting lessons, so answering the phone can be tricky. How much do they cost?

Pony Parties are $990 for up to 6 children.

How to book a Pony Party?

Bookings are made through a link to our booking platform.

To book your Pony Party click Book Now below. (You will be redirected to our booking platform)

You need to register as a user and create an account (or log in if you already have an account) and nominate a rider to be able to book a Pony Party.

The PONY PARTIES occur on Sundays and availability will be displayed for you to make your booking.

Find the Sunday party date of your choice, select the party at your preferred time. Then choose Add to Basket. Go to Basket then go to Checkout and Make Payment.

Once you have done this, you will receive a Booking Confirmation and an email advising the next steps.
